
Ashikaga Wisteria
In Japanese mythology, the Wisteria plant has been an ancient symbol of love and sensitivity.
This Japanese flower's reputation and die-hard following is understandable given its clean and soothing fragrance. Enjoyed by so many, Wisteria is often times used in ice-cream to create a light and refreshing dessert. The best time to visit Ashikaga for the Wisteria Festival is during late April to early May for its full bloom.
